so cool. when u see these animals in like text books you can appreciate their camo, cuz u cant see what terrain they match. here, you gotta look for the animals in the picture. and ofcourse its like “human” como. fake camo was inspired by natural camo. :P

Nice photos. And if aethists think these varied and wonderful creatures got this way by evolution, I would ask these people to work on becoming millionaires because they had to be. to survive today’s economy. Good luck and happy transmorgifying,

Actually, you are ignorant to the process that is evolution. Try to learn about it and you just might understand it, for this comment I call you an IDIOT.

The one who lives long enough to breed is the one who will make up the future generations. The one who can camouflage best is the one who doesn’t fall prey to the predator, and makes up the gene pool for future generations. Get it?

I absolutely love em :D didn’t know camouflage can be so effective. Even us humans take a while to spot some of them. Wonder what happens if some giraffe thinks a leaf insect is a plant. Wonder how it tastes :p

Stumbled!

ya these animals WERE made that way, what would make them change? there kin dying? mmm no i dont think so…they would have to die before there body would change or adapt and thats IMPOSSIBLE! and yes the earth + universe is only about 6000-7000 years old…scientists had two ways of calculating the age of rocks…they chose the WRONG one, the one that made the earth and such look OLDER so they look BETTER! im gonna post a link…watch this vid…plz…its for your own good, do it! seriously <<spelling? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vEXGKzH0F9c

That’s a little harsh really? ‘idiot’ ‘bible thumper’…i’m an atheist but i still respect what they believe and to be honest…its easier to think someone made them to suit those environments rather than they just ended up like that so fair enough.

All the non-’bible thumpers’ have shoved stuff down dbwheeler’s throat and any other person who happens to believe in the same stuff as them so you’re just being as bad as them…just chill out, if you don’t agree by all means say but don’t disrespect other peoples beliefs…

For a Deism point of view.. you’re all stupid. It’s not possible evolutionary changes were started by a divine being, that exists outside the universe’s laws?

Beautiful photos. Seriously, religious argument? STFU. I’d be more angry but my faith in the great flying spaghetti monster allows me to remain passive and simply enjoy the beauty and ridiculous waste of time that is totally irrelevant random religious debate that belongs elsewhere.

Beautiful pictures, nature never ceases to amaze.

Evolution and religion can coexist without cancelling each other out. This dicussion isn’t religion vs evolution, it’s creationism vs evolution. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and forcing them on each other is neither helpful or pleasant.

@Hmmm…: http://www.asa3.org/ASA/RESOURCES/WIENS.html

Read up. There are more than 2 ways to measure time in an archaeological context. As a matter of fact, the most widespread category of dating (of which carbon dating gets the most press) is called Radiometric Dating, and is actually made up of over 40 different dating methods. If you actually decide to click the link above you’ll see that these various methods, while very different, are all in parody with each other. And they all basically say the same thing: the Earth is significantly older than a mere 6000-7000 years.

You know what? I’ll make you a deal. I’ll post a link to the book of Genesis too. So all the Atheists click that, and all the Christians that think that the Earth has only been around as long as Human Civilization click the link above.

We’ll all get educated together, and no one’s mind will be changed.

People who deny evolution continue to amaze and sadden me. No amount of evidence or proof will open your eyes. We just have to educate the younger generations and wait for you to die off with your inflexible beliefs.

Yes, some of the animals know they’re hard to see. Polar bears, for example, will cover their nose with their paw when they’re laying on their bellies sneaking up on a seal.
