Seagate announces the first 1.5TB hard disk

Seagate announced yesterday its willingness to put the first hard disk capacity of desktop computers to 1.5 terabytes. New product launched by the company name “Barracuda 7200.11″ and Barracuda are a family of fish characterized the enormity of scale. Barracuda containing four disks provide large storage capacity and data transfer speeds of up to 3 Gb / sec. Product will be put on the market in the month of August. And followed by two models of hard disks with capacity of 1 / 2 terabytes for portable computers in the last quarter of this year.

1.5tb? That’s all?!??? That’s so disappointing, I was expecting a minimum of 2tb. I hope another company comes out with a bigger hd just to crush these insolent baby stepping pigs.

What a waste, let’s focus on SSD.
