Intel’s netbook roadmap downplays HD chipset
So farewell then, GN40, Intel’s next major netbook chipset but now apparently destined for the chop before it was even launched.
That, at least, is what can be read from Intel mobile platform plans announced in Asia this week.
Print Books Are Target of Pirates on the Web
Ursula K. Le Guin, the science fiction writer, was perusing the Web site Scribd last month when she came across digital copies of some books that seemed quite familiar to her. No wonder. She wrote them, including a free-for-the-taking copy of one of her most enduring novels, “The Left Hand of Darkness.”
Windows Mobile 6.5 on 31 Phones in 2009
Redmond-based software giant Microsoft is getting ready to release on the market a new version of its operating system for mobile phones, the Windows Mobile 6.5, which should provide users with a wide range of improvements when compared to previous releases of the platform, while also offering them a series of new features, unavailable before, like access to the company’s Windows Marketplace for Mobile application store.
Verizon Mifi, Personal Wi-Fi Coming this Month

After a flurry of interest last December, the Mifi personal Wi-Fi hotspot is about to be delivered and thankfully, it’s coming from network coverage-king Verizon.
